Designing homes in the Los Cabos region of Mexico provides a unique climate and living environment that precipitates a unique architecture. The need to defend against the harsh elements, oppressive heat, blinding sun, expansive blue ocean and a sea breeze heavily laden with salt. Stagnant air becomes unbearable, trade winds need capturing and the siesta culture is in full swing. This home was sited to maximize the breeze and minimize exposure to the chubascos and hurricanes common to the area.
