When we were asked by L.A. developer mogul Nile Niami to create a formal Parisian Pied-a-terre in Toluca Lake for his family we created a core symmetrical entry façade which then broke down and gave way to a more informal vocabulary. This worked to soften the seriousness and transition it into a more relaxed design embracing the outdoor California lifestyle.
